I bought a DVX100A on ebay 2 months ago, after comparing ebay prices over a months time to see what was a good price to pay. Unfortunately, being new to the world of digital video I didn't think to check how many hours had been put on the camera before purchasing it. A while after receiving it I was made aware of the hour meter and found that my camera has 240 hours on it. This seems like a TON! compared to other cameras that are selling on ebay. It seems to have been well taken care of and has been working great for the last 2 months, but I am concerned that the the now 249 hours on it might mean it is close to dying. Unfortunatley I cannot "redo" my purchase, but I would like to prepare for the future...and I have a very very limited budget. Am I worrying about nothing? Has anyone noticed more camera problems popping up after a certain amount of time? What component is most likely to have a problem after a certain amount of time and is it worth fixing (price wise) or should I try to sell this as fast as I can and get one with fewer hours?
