A friend used my DVX100A camera to shoot video at my daughters' weddings and when I play it on a 42 inch wide screen TV (in 4:3 display mode) it looks terrible, there are all sorts of artifacts. Even a short test clip burned onto a DVD with the least amount of compression possible still looks bad.
Can the DVX100A really be used to shoot a film for display on a theater screen? or even a large screen TV for that matter?
Does the video have to go through some additional process to improve the quality?
Thanks,
Dan
