Is anyone using 5D2RGB?

I disagree, go with 1.8 for expanded latitude, and use Rec 601, not 709.
I've relied on 5DtoRGB as my transcoder for a long time.

it's debatable that 1.8 really give any benefits. Some people say it brings out more detail in the shadows. My experience it brings up the shadows, but doesn't really bring out any more detail. As for the matrix, if you use Norm 1 on the AF100 (which is Rec 601) you should use Rec 601 in 5DtoRGB. This is also the correct setting for the 5D and 7D (unless you use technicolor). Not that it really pertains to this, but most standard def cameras are also Rec 601. If you use Norm 2 on the AF100 (which is Rec 709) you should use Rec 709 in 5DtoRGB to get the most out of the footage. If you use any other Matrix on the AF100, technically there isn't the correct settings in 5DtoRGB, but you can test different ones to see which you like best.

The Batch Version is much better than the standalone (right now).

Don't even mess with the gamma anymore, just REC709 and Full Range gives me exactly what I need to go to work.

And the footage coming out of Batch is definitely more accurate than the old version of free. Oddly enough, the old version of free (not sure about the latest) ended up correcting the GH2's inherent green shift. The new one doesn't, but I'm happier using that as at least I know what I'm gonna get, which is close enough to what I'm looking at in the viewfinder.

I see a huge difference in image quality compared to L & T in FC7. I am experiencing an 8 frame audio sync issue on my transcoded material. Odd. Really happy with the product thus far.
