hello all i'm new to this forum. just getting a price check if anyone can help me out. It's the gh1 body only. Comes with a couple scratches but nothing to cringe over. Has 2 extra batteries and all the accessories. let me know what you think.

ps. I don't know if there is buying or selling in forum but wink wink hint hint pm me.

Hah, in the last shop I visited here in Europe they wanted almost 1200€ around for the GH1, not hackable, with the 14-140. On the german ebay they are priced with 500-600€ and not advertised that it is hackable...too expensive in my eyes since the GH2 is out and you can get em for around 900€ +- with the small kit lens.

I'm not bragger but if you trifty. You can join pd epp and get gh2 $680 and even samy camera. Have few hackble gh1 $399. But mostly $399 not hackble.

But on the internet people put the informations neded to join epp. So if you like you can sneak in. They still make money. Lol. But never have a stack!

Thanks buddies. But I must buy american a.k.a the good ol' red white and blue. I got the price dropped for 600 american dollars, so i'm pulling the trigger. love you all. sell me your lenses.

I'm trying to decide between a Gh1 and Gh2. I really felt that I got ripped off by the T2i (in all $1,000+ when I bought it, nit-picks and accessories), when it must be the most lacking "expensive" camera on the market right now ~ the T2i should really be around $400. Anyway, in the process of selling the T2i, I'm sure I'm not going to get that much money for it, so I'm not sure that I'll be able to easily afford the $1,000 Gh2. The Gh1 on Amazon is $400 body only, but haven't these cameras been hack-proof for awhile? Is there any way to know if the model you're getting is hackable or if it isn't? Also, I've read that there's a stability risk when using 1080P 24P on the Gh1 hack, is it a problem that anyone's encountered?

Personally, I'd rather just get a Gh2 but...meh, expensive. Also, I've been trying to look at comparisons ~ does anyone know if the 1080P mode is better on the GH1 hack or on the GH2? I want to say that the GH1 hack makes things look smoother, but I really have no clue.

Basically, I do a heck of a ton of nature shots in my films, always a thousand trees and things, so that's why I'm eager to see the improvements of the Panasonic series. Although it wasn't much of a "scientific" comparison, the 60D vs. Gh2 comparison that DigitalRev recently did really won me over. The tree was one thing, but the jacket really just made my jaw drop.
