any tips on adjusting your filming to compensate for what you see on the lcd?

If it's realistic within your budget you could get your hands on a small external 16:9 LCD monitor and attach it to your rig you would see the picture with the correct aspect ratio.

Cool I wanted one anyway so I can see the picture bigger than the small LCD offers. Any links to where I could buy a good one? (Cheap but decent.)

I see we've hijacked this thread so I'll continue with that. What output on the DVX would you send to this monitor? What would you plan on powering it with?

Looks like the only input it has which will accommodate the DVX is composite (yellow).
