This is my first purchase of a non-traditional camera. I have alway used a shoulder mount camera with a removable lens. Last one was a JVC 700U with Fuji glass. I do mostly sports shooting so I figured the DVX-200 would make a great run and gun camera. But, I am not used to the iris on this new camera. I set the iris to auto (not the entire camera, just the iris) but if I take a shot in the stands at a basketball game the iris does not go full open so the footage looks dark. I must be doing something wrong. Please help.
