FS7: IR Filter

Does the FS7 have a built-in filter for interference from UV/IR rays? If not, do you recommend buying an external filter? I am looking at typical B+W UV filters but saw a few Vimeo videos for other cameras comparing the difference of using an UV/IR filter and not. Is this something I should look into for my FS7?

Juan Martinez (product manager) says that the internal ND filters (or the sensor itself) have IR correction built in. My guess is you won't have much trouble using them. However, I wouldn't recommend using an external 4-5 stop ND filter without IR blockage. The IRND filters are, of course, much more expensive.

Regarding UV, same as any camera: if you are shooting a scenic at a distance, a UV filter doesn't hurt.
