IR Cut for A7S

Can't find much of anything about this:

I'm about to DP a feature on the A7S and was wondering what people are using for IR pollution? Is it even a problem with this camera or is IR cut built into the body?

I already own a Hoya IR cut filter, some Hoya ProNDs, and a Formatt Hot Mirror ND, but I'll need a few more densities to efficiently cover my bases (my Hoyas+IR cut worked well with Blackmagic cameras but the Formatts can cut IR on Red cameras in a single filter, so I'd prefer to spend on Formatt).

Those proND filters should be enough. I think the a7s is less sensitive to IR than the BM (i.e., it has a stronger IR-cut filter on the sensor).

I wS worried about IR too, but didn't notice any problems with the footage I shot a couple weeks ago with an ND9. I don't think you have to worry. I would guess that the sensor has an IR cut built in or something.

Try to shoot tests with varying ND under different lighting sources and find out. I don't know of anybody who has done an IR test on the A7s.

If you are shooting s-log2 outdoors the you will need one due to the high iso it requires. I shot some test footage a while back that way and it had noticeable IR pollution.

Thank you all for the input. I'll assume I'm safe with lower densities w/o IR cut & get more Formatt filters. Since dhessel says he saw it with Slog2 outdoors, I'll do a quick test before my shoot and let you know what I find.
