iPod Storage

Can an iPod be used in place of FireStore: firewire the iPod to the HVX? Has anybody tried this? Alot cheaper than using P2 or FireStore.

Why does everyone want to use their ipod? Will it work? Yes, but with terrible battery life and you will need to reformat your ipod EVERY time and your ipod will have a much shorter life...

Cheap drives are available from Western Digital, Lacie, and G-raid, under $250, that will store about 100GB, and some are bus powered, some AC or battery. They can be used with the HVX's "Host mode" if AC/battery powered. Bus powered is for when you are transferring from laptop.
