iPod Boogie

Here is a rarity - interesting footage from the HVX. Well lit, shot, and edited. I guess I'm just sick of seeing people's cats in slo-mo.

Now cut this down to 30 seconds and tack on an "iPod" slate at the tail, and you've got a kick ass spec.

that was great. cool building and your wife is lovely. looks like you had some fun. i wish we had some buildings like that here. they tore them all down. this is another cilp you have posted that makes me want that camera! Cheers.

how are you finding the focus? are you using the viewfinder or lcd?

I want one too!!!!

I want one too!!!!

Great shooting, very nice footage. I like the smooth camera moves also. Thanks for shareing.

My DP is raving over your footage bgundu. He says it's the best stuff he's seen along with the snow footage.

Great work Bob. Between this and your Distillery clip, you have sold me 100% on the HVX200. Any remaining doubt was abolished today when I watched this clip. Beautifully shot, craftfully edited and your wife is gorgous. Kuddos.

Too bad I don't get any commission :(

I have to put in my Kuddos to you my friend. That looked great. Simple and elegant. Great lighting that wrapped around your wife nicely. If I were you I would rent that space! A loft with great light, you gotta have it. I will download the clip as a lighting reference fo soft light. Thanks.

Thanks dude. I actually rent a much smaller unit a few doors down. This huge space will be converted to smaller units sometime in the future.

Terrific looking, Bob, what nice light in that space. The wide shot facing the windows was a real eye opener for me.

Any chance of re-posting a full rez 720p version? I'm sure someone would host it .

And wasn't your wife in the first 720p montage you shared? Looked like she was showing clients around the gallery...

Regards,

Jim Arthurs

As it is right now, I'm just under my limit of 10GB/day transfer. If someone would like to host it, send me the FTP details. Oh, my wife is not in the gallery footage.

It's pretty clear that this camera has a very low resolution, suffers of random noise and macroblocks.

So you have not the right to shot beautiful movies, with beautiful women (ooops she's your wife) and..... and .... and that's not an iPod.

Great footage. Did you get that depth of field w/out any adapter? Were you zoomed in? Looks great.

I was looking into the M2 adapter, or the Letus 35....

Thanks for the great footage.
