I was messing around today with my Z-finder and for some weird reason, decided to put it up on my iPhone 4...
Yup. It's as unbelievably awesome as you think it is. Retina display + Z finder is officially the best EVF that I've ever put my eyes on. The screen is a little long/wide but the short side is just right. If you have both, you need to check it out. Heck, turn on the iPhone's camera and check it out.
So the question is, anyone know of a way to get a video signal IN to an iPhone 4?
I feel like a possible solution would be a Teradek Cube since it transmits video by wi-fi, which obviously the iPhone has, but it's an option that nobody's talked about because a 3" external monitor is pretty silly.
If you're thinking it's also silly to buy an iPhone just to use it as an EVF, a current model ipod touch has the same screen. That's not so silly if you don't already have an iPhone 4. An 8GB model is $229, which is drastically less expensive than Zacuto EVF's expected $775 retail... without the Z-finder.
Thoughts?
