Anyone use and iPad for post production purposes?

I am thinking about getting one and I would use it to to edit footage that I have taken with my cannon hf 200 then upload it online.
Is that possible to do? I am not aMac perosn, all I have ever used are PCs.

There's a scaled-down version of iMovie for iPhone 4 and iPad 2. It's pretty bare-bones, but it can do simple edits in a pinch.

The other challenge is getting the footage you shoot with the Canon onto the iPad, and I'm not sure that's terrible easy to do without another computer. I wouldn't think this would be the most practical solution.

The camera connection kit for the iPad lets you see the video files on your camera as well. So just take the SD card from your camera (I use a T2i, think the hf200 shoots to SD cards too?) and plug it in. I'm not sure about editing them from this as I've never tried it, but you can at least copy the native files from it.

On a somewhat unrelated note, this is how you can make your iPad have access to an unlimited amount of movies while traveling. Just convert the movies on your computer to the camera format with video monkey, then put them on an SD card and bring the adapter with you.
