I'd like to extend an invitation to the DVXUSER community to see a Free multimedia short screenplay "reading" that will include both prerecorded and live projected footage from the HVX. It's Monday April 10th @ 8pm at The Public Theater in Luester Hall.
The footage and the live feed are both looking quite amazing. It's going up against the Sony 1 chip HDV cam in the live shooting...it's cool to see the totally different flavors up against each other. The Sony gives a clean, cold reality TV1080i, while the HVX, in the words of our media baron Jaco, "makes everything look like a poem".
See info below:
Actor - Director TONY TORN & Fahrenheit 9-11 Producer JIM CZARNECKI
Invite you to a Multi-Media Staged Reading/Presentation of
THE GRAND INQUISITOR
Writer RUTH MARGRAFF'S Satirical Screen Update of the Dostoevsky Fable
THE GRAND INQUISITOR will be shot this summer and distributed in two formats:A 25 minute theatrical version for the festival circuit and conventional broadcast,& as a five part, five minute per episode miniseries event for the Web
The 30 minute presentation will be followed bya reception/Q&A with Director Tony Torn and Multi-Channel Designer JULIE TALEN (PRETEND)on our production & distribution plans.
MONDAY APRIL 10TH 8PM PUBLIC THEATER-LUESTER HALL
BY INVITATION ONLY please RSVP to tony.torn@verizon.net
