Got a call late last week for a small local job from a buddy in TX. Needed it shot quickly and done in a day or so. I can't share the promo itself since it's for investors but here's a few stills from the shoot.
Natural light minus a reflector for fill. AF100 with 50mm Nikon Prime for the static wide and my standard 24-105 F4 lens on my 5D handheld. It was a little nerve-wracking to not be right behind A-cam to make sure all audio, lighting, etc. was going well. I did check every once in a while but otherwise I had to leave it alone. Luckily although things did change a little bit lighting wise, the color-correction was fairly straightforward.
I was very surprised to see the 5D and AF100 matching so well. I could definitely do this again if need be. Leonard was a great guy to work with. His cousin is Evander Holyfield, who has one ear now thanks to Tyson. This guy was huge...could've broken me in half haha. One of the nations top instructors in hand to hand combat. Insane amount of credentials. He had a pop can on his desk that looked like it had been destroyed by a bullet...but nope...it was his FINGER that he put through it. Yikes...
