Greetings DVXUsers! After reading these posts I just wanted to take a moment and introduce Specialized Communications Corporation to you, since it sounds like most of you aren't familiar with us.
It's no surprise that you may not have heard of us. For over 20 years we have been serving primarily the Broadcast community with thousands of customers stretching from coast to coast, as well as, Alaska and Hawaii.
We are a Factory Service Center for Panasonic, JVC, Sony, Philips and others. Being one of the largest in the country we service on average 350-400 units per month, primarily DVCPRO.

As the DVX100 became popular in the broadcast world, we have also added professional clients like yourselves and now with the HVX200 the line between broadcast and professional products has blurred even further with more Professional users needing a higher level of support.

Also notice that, we were offering free ground shipping to the first 100 pre-orders. Because of the overwhelming response we have decided to continue offering free ground shipping for all pre-orders. Good for the continental 48 states. If you would like to upgrade the shipping or you live outside of the 48 states, just pay the difference.
You will also receive a coupon for a free cleaning, good for a year after you receive your camera. This is important for those using the Tape Transport or having the unit exposed to the elements. All you have to pay for is the shipping of your choice.
From what we see, about half of the people taking pre-orders out there are requesting a non-refundable deposit. We felt that having such a competitive pricing we would like to attract those who are ready to buy, so after much deliberation we decided on a reasonably low $500 deposit. We feel that this is fair for the outstanding deal we are offering.
Finally, we are offering an additional 2% incentive if you pre-pay in full with a certified check, making this a deal of a lifetime!
