I really want to use a DVX100B for filmmaking but if I had to do some interview, documentary styled things, and commercials would it suffice? I know I can shoot 60i so thats no issue but do you think it can get the job done?

I got an emmy nomination (SF Region) for my commercial shot on a DVX100 (regular), so yeah, it'll suffice...

I use mine for commercial production and some interview/live event work.
Without lights=good.
With proper lighting=phenomenal.

Hey j, you have any footage of stuff you've shot with the dvx?

You guys won't believe it. I found a film student in London getting rid of a month olf DVX100B. He bought it from B&H complete with Warrenty and all accessories, original box, etc. I am selling my current camera and he is going to let me buy it for 700 Pounds! Not sure if you know money converstion but thats $1350. This is an excellent price and im awaiting his confirmation. I cannot wait to get this thing!!! hazaa!

Awesome Kyyle though Im stumped to know why he bought a cam that would need to be sent back to the US for repairs. But for that price its worth it on your end.
