Hi guys!

We caught up with the winner of two Spellemanns awards, (norwegian answer to the grammy) Robert Post, talking about his career and his music.

I hope you check out the entire video or at least if not that, please fast forward 4 minutes out.
He plays a song and it's live recording!! Amazing quality!... I'm amazed everytime I hear it..

i liked the look ( CC and SGpro)of this....and the content. some of his answers are pretty kool. the song at the end as really nice.

However the cutaways at the beginning took me out of it...just didnt seem to relate at all to the story and it felt like u just threw them in to take up space. The ones later on in the video were quite nice...amd relevant to the story. Also the handheld was a bit much as in the shakeyness. i like handheld work but this was kinda 2 shakey 2 long for me. Were u on a shouldermount? if not, maybe u should try getting one... u's still have the handheld look, just a bit less shakey.

Anyway...pretty good work as usual tomme.

edit: on 2nd watch it really was just 3 cutaways that took me out of it...the rest are fine. so disregard the first comment about the cutaways :)

It was recorded there where he sat:)

My brother pointed the Rode NTG-1 at him and yeah.. it was like magic..

We shot two takes though.. and I synced up the footage so I was able to use some footage from the second take

But all the audio is one take:beer:

dang...go rode. makes me proud to own an ntg2

was the mic camera mounted for the interview part or on a boom?

Very nice, as always! MB + SG?

I just got MB, started experimenting with it... (wish me luck).

Could you have grabbed a few shots of him by himself- walking, looking or thinking, to cut in while he talks, or during the song? Just a possibility.
And did you not want to hear the audio of him playing underneath when you see him playing while he speaks?

Do you know of a reasonably priced shoulder mount that will work with an adapter?

Love the shallow DoF on the neck of the guitar!

You added a little delay to the song's audio?
Nice touch, Tomatoes ;^)
Nice film.

Thank you Chuck!

Yes, it's all SGpro with MB-magic :)

No actually, I thought that it might be disturbing to the audio of the voice.

And I'm not really sure about prices for shoulder mounts, but right now I don't really have the cash for it. Just bought two new lenses :Drogar-Love(DBG):

I didn't add a delay, but a reverb :)
