Interview filmed 30% with D90

Used Xacti HD1a and D90. Sound into Xacti with Rode VideoMic.

Cheap Xacti is sharper , but D90 CRUSHES IT SO HARD in low light. Xacti is almost unusable in indoor shots like this. I used 2 borrowed tota's and an omni.

I'm all for creativity in interview set ups. But there are rules for seting up and lighting for a reason. 50% of the time the guy was looking off camera, how is that engaging to the viewer. Good technique costs nothing....


The footage looks soft to me.
