Interval recording

Does interval recording only work in 1080i mode?

I have flipped through several setting and the interval recording feature is blue, not allowing and changes to that section of the menu.

The only setting I can record in seems to be 1080 60i.

Anyone know if I'm missing a setting or something or is it only available in 1080i ?

I think that is the case... I kinda prefer 720p for Timelapse ... which the 200 & 170 has...

that's what I thought. I guess its 720 for me as well unless I test out the 60i clip and convert it in cinema tools. If that works I'll let you know.
