Interval Recording

I was gettting ready to shoot some time lapse (100A), so I went through the posts, my DVX book and the cmera menu and found the settings for Interval Rec. But the setting is "off" and is Blue in color. I can't seem to switch it on. Any thoughts?

You can't be in 24P mode to use interval rec.

Ah, that explains it. It never occurs to me to take the camera out of progressive mode. Interlaced kinda gives me a rash...

You can do it in 30P as well, just not 24P.
