I am doing a test time lapse today and what I'm wondering is does using the interval recording feature change the amount o time that my sd card will record for. On the LCD viewfinder it still says "1hr 38min".
Perhaps I'm not asking the question correctly, does the readout on the LCD not compensate for recording less footage?. For example typically if I'm shooting at 1080/24 1hr 38min would be the total amount that this card could handle in constant shooting. So is the readout not done in real time but rather in how much data is collected?
