I was not happy with the internal mic on my HMC150 so I attached a Rode "Directional Video Condenser Microphone" and the results were a little better. Then I used an $89 dollar hand held Tascam DR-05 with much better results. The test was only a couple of seconds of saying "testing testing.... from two feet away" but the results were noticeable. The Tascam was the best. In a day or so I will do a thorough test under a variety of different conditions.
