Internal Mic for A6000 - or other options?

I'm mostly a photographer, but looking to do some informational videos, blog-style...But in looking at the A6000 I noticed there's no mic inout (haven't bought one yet). Wondering how the internal mic performs. I saw this review for the A5100 and Johnnie says he used just the internal mic and it seems great for interview-style work (look at 1:07 & 1:52 on https://vimeo.com/104463576). Is the A6000 the same? I'll be doing plenty outside so wind is a concern. Are there inexpensive hot-shoe option for a directional mic? Thanks for reading!

Thanks folks! Sorry, thought I had a reminder on this thread, but didn't. So the ECM-XYST1M would be good for directional stuff like interviews? I definitely don't need pro audio gear..Just something to get a more direct sound outside when doing recordings.
