I currently have my FS7 in the LA repair facility for this intermittent problem I'm having. It first showed up when I got the camera a few months ago, on my first test shoot (it's strange that I've had the camera for this long... I've done more shooting on the FS700 than the FS7 since I got it.)
Anyway, VF image freezes (usually with a tear across the image), but all of the display info stays updated. Video here... Timecode still running, white balance pop-up appears and disappears fine. Only the image is frozen:http://d.pr/v/FKvw
When going into Thumbnail mode for playback, any clip recorded during the lockup has this "no" symbol on it:

Anyway, long story short, they are not able to recreate the issue in the repair facility so it looks like I might be getting the camera just sent back to me (so a week of time and $120 in shipping out the window for nothing). I'm just wondering if anyone else has had this issue and if so, do certain things recreate it? I know Olof has had a lock up while using UHD out on the HDMI, but this is without any external devices connected. The only other factor I can think of is that I loaded LUTs on an SD card and the camera seems to lockup during boot-up (as the image sort of flashes while things are initializing).
