GH2 interlaced artifacts..

discovering new things every day with the gh2. So i applied the Flow motion hack, did some testing this morning, in 1080i and 720 mode ( i didn't try cinema 24p cos i doubt i will ever use it)
Now with the gh1 and lpowell 44M hack, in FHD files converted with FCP log & transfer show up as Upper field interlaced. I usually just set them to none and put on progressive sequence and had no interlacing rubbish. Same procedure with GH2, and i can clearly see black scan lines in footage when i put 100% view in editing window, even if i set field order to none; and any motion in footage is really bad to look at. Only way i can get rid of artifacts is by deinterlacing the clip once its on the timeline... but that is probably loosing resolution.. so i might as well just film in 720 , at least i get 50fps that can be useful for slomo... and actually the gh2 720 video in my first test looks much better than gh1 720...
I thought it was using the same stupid avchd wrapping used in gh1, so why this difference? is there any other way to keep real 1080P 25 ? i also tried rewrapping mts files with clipwrap, but resulting h264 file are a pain to edit, and actually once on the timeline they kept crashing fcp6.

Although the GH2's HBR video mode scans the image sensor at a progressive frame rate of 25p in PAL, it encodes the video in an interlaced 1080i50 format. In fact, there is no explicit way for a video editor to detect whether the GH2 recorded in HBR rather than FSH mode - both types of files are formatted exactly the same. As a result, you must manually indicate that an HBR file should be interpreted as progressive, each time you import it into a video editor.
