F55: Interesting comparing sxs and axsm

Hi All,

did a quick calculation:
it's cheaper to record to axsm than on sxs pro+

the 512GB Axsm will give you about an hour in 4k 24 and costs about 1200euros
the 64GB SxS Pro+ gives you 24 mins costs about 700euros (as i've been told)

so: it's probably cheaper to go 4k raw than go 4k sxs pro+...
(expect for the recorder price - but i strongly think that both partys buying either f5/f55 will opt
for the raw recorder, no?)
 
Two things to consider going the RAW route...

1. The fan noise from the recorder if you do your own audio, if you are an ENG/EFP operator.

2. The extra time and cost in post which the operator will probably have to suck up unless the camera is going to be used on episodic or feature kind of budgets.
