I assume that to do this you would need to downrez the 720p footage before dropping it into the main SD project. Am I correct in thinking this? With Final Cut Pro is this straightforward?
Finally, why are the varicam modes not available on higher or lower resolution than 720p/n? It would make integrating slow-motion or fast motion clips into SD films so much easier...
