Instant rebates back at B&H

True but you an sell the lenses fromthe 1440 package on ebay and leave yourself with a new GH1 body for well under $600. I've done it. (Don't forget to to factor in Ebay and Paypal fees, which run around 12%) The 20mm's go like hotcakes at $370. The kit lenses have settle in at around 700.

Lots of Lumix lenses are out of stock at B&H just now dor some reason....

Don't know if this applies to any of the other Lumix lenses, but I had been looking all over the place for the 25mm 1.4 to no avail. I contacted Panasonic directly and they replied that it had been discontinued.
