GH4 Installing gh4 vlog ver2.3 from Eduardo Angle's site

I'm actually interesting (at the moment) in what the FW2.3 updates will be (if more than just the ability to add the VLOG features)

The GH4R (the GH4 with V-log pre-installed) page on the UK site mentions extended recording times with no duration limit. I'm assuming the 2.3 will add this--

The GH4R page listing the recording formats also has a *new marker for 59.94hz system frequency at 23.98 frame rate.

I've read that the extended record time, which is only an issue in the EU, will only be available by purchasing the GH4R, & not via the firmware update.

Yes, there really is no practical way of collecting taxes from cameras sold long ago I suppose.
 
I feel like a complete idiot, but i purchased the upgrade and I can't get passed this step:
Upload the SERIAL.LST file by inserting the SD card into your computer. From the Update Portal Web Page use BROWSE to find and select "SERIAL.LST" file on the SD card. "SERIAL.LST" is saved in folder of PRIVATE > PANA_GRP > PAVC > LUMIX > ACTV > "SERIAL.LST then press [Upload] to proceed.

What the heck web site are they refering to? Where to i upload the serial???

The web page is listed in the small manuel you got in the V-LOG box.

Activation code generation site :
https://eww.pavc.panasonic.co.jp/enhance/ActivationTop/en

Upload your SERIAL.LST file and an ACTIVE.LST file will be generated. Save that new file in the same folder of your SD card. Put the SD card back in your GH4 and activate. Note that you'll need at least firmware v.2.3.

Thanks stefan. Silly me, I didn't realize I'd be sent a piece of cardboard with the activation code on it... I saw the authorization # and thought it was the same thing.

Seriously Panasonic? Surely an automated code can be e-mailed!!!
