Installing firmware using a mac

Hey all,

My GH1 came in today and I noticed I'm on firmware version 1.1. I'd like to update to 1.2, just because I'm anal, but the zip file I downloaded from panasonic has no instructions regarding how to actually go about installing it!

Any help? I googled the problem and only found answers for installing "Guitar Hero 1" controller firmware. :(
 
Basically, you unstuff the zip file and put the file (bin on Mac) on an SCHD card and then insert it into your GH1. At least that seemed to be the easiest way to me.

One thing that wasn't clear to me was that to start the upgrade, you press the Play button on the GH1 once the card is inserted. It's all automatic from there.
 
Is it possible to try firmware 1.2 and then revert to 1.1? This is in reference to how it will affect the 20mm f/1.7 lens. The update should make auto-focus quieter but slower too.
