Nice depth and color. But it looks like there is a little red in the face near then end. You can probably fix that by bringin down the saturation. Its also a little jaring when you cross his eyeline in the middle of the clip.

"F**k I'm lazy"??  What is happening to us?  Every language has developed certain POWER words. They are to be used during intense, emotional, stressful, angry, frightening, and sexual ;)  situations to express our feelings, when other words cannot.  But now everyone uses POWER words, all the time, for every situation and even casual conversation. It's REALLY sad. "LOVE" is a POWER word.  (If you tell everyone and everything, "I love you." or "I love it." Then the word has lost it's power and its true meaning. TYPING IN ALL CAPS IS ANOTHER EXAMPLE. We give power to CAPS. People who type in CAPS, all the time, lose their power and it means NOTHING!!

Maybe that's one of the reasons western culture is so much more angry and stressed than other cultures.  We've taken all the power from these POWER words, so they no longer express or release our anger and emotions.  The only way to find peace is to curse even more .....or worse.

Sorry to vent, but I've seen a horrible trend in the past 10-20 years. And these younger filmmakers seem to think it's cool ...or dope ...or the bomb, or whatever they are calling it now.  

Please try to help give these words power again. Thank you and goodnight. (P.K. steps off soapbox.)

words are words , actions are what we should be judged on.
its a word with a meaning that in itself is blown up. Hate and Love are on a different level then a swear.

thanks, that was actually the first time ive ever used my lights in a video.
this was a little mess around clip that i was teaching my friend how to edit on FCP with and it turned out looking better then any other work ive done yet

words can be very powerful, I do not believe that every word should then be disregarded.
I think that swear words are blown out of proportion, they are just words used to emphasize a point or set a mood. They are not as powerful as love, hate ect.

basically i always get language complaints. The last two years of highschool have been hell because i dont stick to the norm and edit some crappy sports special for the announcements, I always make a movie that is somewhat contraversial (spelling?) so that it will get peoples attention. I guess thats a habbit I should start drifting away from but I dont think people should make a huge deal and cause all sorts of online shannanigans because someone dropped an F bomb.

"so that it will get peoples attention"  Aaron, but you see that's the whole problem, people are always trying to do what gets peoples attention.  (I want peoples attention too.)  If you don't have true content or a real message, then the easiest way to get attention is with bad words, explosions, or sex.  Don't take the easy way out. The evolutionary process involves hurdles. So we become better, stronger, and smarter.  Some people just want the easy answer, and fail to evolve.

I would suggest coming up with original ideas, not sticking to the norm (as you said - that's good).  That will get peoples attention more than any of the language.

From what I know most teenagers curse. So the true rebels are the ones who don't.  If most filmmakers try to be contraversial, then the non-contraversial filmmakers will get all the attention, ...because their not the norm. ;)

one of my favorite films is Braveheart. I can't even imagine him yelling, "F**K THEM ALL!!!" instead of "FREEDOM!!!"  Hey, maybe it would have been more contraversial.

BTW, I forgot to comment on your footage. My bad. Aaron, it's obvious you've got talent. Nice lighting and dark imagery. Beautiful. I am certain you will do great things. Good luck!
