Whe does Input 1 jack not have a CH2 select? Why would you want to record anything on only one channel? Thanks

I do it all the time. If you have two sources/mics, not recording them on the same channel is a big help in post if you need to tweak audio levels or just need to kill one of them.

Uh...two seperate audio sources? I record audio from different sources to individual channels all the time. It helps loads in post.

And, not to be a nag, but perhaps you could post all your basic questions in one post instead of a bunch of individual threads.
