I have a used Innovision 16mm/Video Probe I T8 System in excellent condition for sale. The optics are glass clear, in perfect condition, and with no scratches, internal dust, fungus, mars etc. This system has also been completely checked out by Innovision Optics and found to be in perfect condition. It does show some cosmetic blemishes on the outside of the barrels, but nothing that will affect the image.
This lens system is designed to cover a 16mm, Super16, or 2/3 Video frame/sensor like that in a Sony EX3, but it can also cover a 35mm CMOS sensor with the addition of a 3X Extender (I’ve used it on a Nikon D2X with great results).
This system comes with a set of 5mm, 6.5mm, 9mm, and 12.5mm Prime Lenses, a B4 Adapter and a PL Adapter.
The Innovision Probe I’s unique design incorporates a 19” long by 1.3” diameter lens barrel which lets you move further inside or closer along-side a product than with any conventional lens. Now you can shoot over, under, around, and through objects with extreme depth of field. The Probe lens system offers viewing in either direct or 90 degree angles. It provides interchangeable front objectives in a variety of focal lengths. This lens is great for general purpose tabletop work including foods and products where higher t-stops are not a problem. It can also work great outdoors for shots very close to the ground or skimming very close along side objects. The Probe I lenses are Innovision’s tubular lenses completely designed for film and video use.
The optics are of the highest quality glass elements and relay optics have been computer designed to produce excellent resolution, edge-to-edge sharpness, flat field, and extreme depth of field. State-of-the-art glass elements minimize distortion and flare. The housing is constructed of superior grade aluminum and stainless steel with durable black anodized exterior.
The manual is also included, along with a strong, heavy-duty, custom-built case (does show signs of wear). And, all elements come with front and rear caps.
