I live in inland empire but dont know it very well. Is there any cool mountain / hillside locations to film at, where people wont see us? Ive checked alot of places but they are not any good.

If you're willing to drive up the 15 to the 138 there's an area (I think it's called Mormon Rocks) that is pretty cool. It's near Phelan.
 
And if you take the 15 up to the 138 and head east (west is to the Mormon Rocks) you will end up on a long stretch of road that I always thought looked very old-west. Transfer over to the 173 when it forks and you will end up in Hesperia, near deep creek -there are a lot of secluded mountain and creek areas. That's where we shot a lot of Survival.
