Injest problems fcp 7 log & transfer tool

I find when I use the log and Transfer tool, this cameras image looks interlaced on my preview monitor.
Does anyone else have this problem?
Do any of you have any suggestions how to force fcp 7 to view this footage in 1080p and not i?
Also, when importing I find Its not being stored to the scratch disk, I have been noticing the boot drive is now starting to run low on space.

Hi, Rob.

I have no issues importing with FCP7 using log and transfer. Where does it look interlaced? In the preview window of log and transfer? Or when you later pull it in to the timeline? As for the scratch disk, check to see what you have for video capture under System Settings.

By the way, I put the sd card directly into the sd slot on my MB Pro.

Hi Tom,

I see the interlacing on the main preview thats hooked up to a 50 inch plasma display.
I do have the capture scratch set to the external drive.
I do find files stored from Color on my operating drive. Maybe thats what it is.
Ill have to do some digging around.

I see another issue. The footage is being read as if it's 1080i in the timeline. I think FCP 7 is converting the 1080 into 1080i.
