Infommercial type thing for a charity

[Rakesh Jacob]

Friends of mine were having a hard time getting a video produced for their charity. They guy they were using, shot a bunch of footage on their XH A1 but flaked out when it came time to edit. They asked me to come in and edit. The footage was GARBAGE. It was a couple of hours of utter crap.

I told 'em that given how bad it was, it would be a LOT easier for me to start from scratch and shoot something different. This is what we came up with.
This is one of the last pieces on my faithfull DVX100a. I just got in the new HVX200a and a couple of Canon HF100s. The HF100 ROCKS!!!!! Do not sleep on these cameras. If u dont know what they are google them right now.

Anyway, my poor DVX may never see the light of day again, so I just wanted to share this last moment of my life in standard definition with you guys. DVXUSER is where I discovered this cam and never regretted buying it.
Thnx for the 480p memories!

Nice job. Was that shot 4:3 and then cropped in post? Or did you shoot Squeeze or maybe even Letterbox?

Thnx, it was shot letterboxed and then I cropped it more to give it a more dramatic feel.
