Inexplicably all the footage I am pasting into new comps is showing up muted grey

Almost as if it were set to grayscale for the comp... Why is this happening? Really irking me!

I feel like I hit some key button accidentally or something. I have no idea what's going on.
 
Figured it out. There is a 3 circle button (RGB) right next to the resolution menu on the composition preview window. I had it set to Red only for some reason!

Haha. No, but working in AE has been a very humbling experience. It's like, I know how to do this, it's going to work! Then it doesn't work, and you have to do it again.
