I am shooting a documentary on the sport of lawn mower racing and I have been told that my request to interview an US Congressman has been approved! How this fits into the narrative is a discussion for another time. I was looking at the Gitzo GB0530 at B & H for $160 but I am broke as I have been out of work for nearly five months. Anyone out there will a decent used boom for around $100? I plan to place the camera on a tripod and operate the boom myself. I would rather not leave the AT4073 on the camera as I am sure that getting the mic closer to the subject would be better. A lav would be good but I can use the boom while running and gunning and for interviews. Anyone know of a rental house in Washington, DC?
Thanks
