Streckfus Entertainment is pleased to announce the development of IceBreaker, a new romantic comedy in the great tradition of independent filmmaking.
Instead of taking a formulaic, standard approach to the romantic comedy genre, the IceBreaker screenplay focuses intently on the real problems - and the resulting comedy - of modern dating as seen through the eyes of Gary and Samantha, its lead characters. Focusing more on dialogue, relationships and character than on plot and structure, IceBreaker provides its humor in the refreshing, honest approach indicative of independent filmmaking.
IceBreaker will be shot and edited digitally, using locations throughout the Minneapolis/St. Paul Metro area. Utilizing the ambition and perseverance of its cast and crew instead of an expansive budget, IceBreaker will be submitted to film festivals around the country after its completion.
We are looking to fill the following positions:
LOCATION MANAGER/COORDINATOR
PRODUCTION MANAGER (UNIT PRODUCTION MANAGER or UPM)
CASTING DIRECTOR
SOUND MIXER/SOUND RECORDIST
BOOM OPERATOR
HAIR & MAKEUP ARTIST
SCRIPT SUPERVISOR
PRODUCTION ASSISTANTS
All levels of experience are encouraged to apply- professionals, hobbyists, students etc.
All positions are UNPAID, but meals, credit and copy will be provided.
