Industrial Video (I know they're usually boring but give it a chance!)

Nice work. Very imformative and doesn't look cheesy. Like the overlays of the documents and the sound is very professional!
 
Glad you liked it. The Fundraising industry is very lacking in multimedia in general. We (the company I work for) are definitly the innovators in this concept of using media for promotion and marketing. The only other school fundraising company that has made a sales/promotion video like this is West Coast Fundraising, and it can be seen here http://www.virtupoint.com/pimpco/fundraising.wvx

I watched it, if I had fallen asleep on my couch watching tv and woke up at 3 in the morning and this was on, I would believe with all my heart that it was a made by a real infomercial maker. It looked good, I bet they were thrilled with the video.

Are you trying to say that you are innovators in using media for fundraising?
Because clearly media has been used for promotion and marketing for...well...
for as long as 'media' has been around.

Fundraising videos are definitely a good niche - but I don't know if it's really anything new. A good piece of my business comes from nonprofits of many types (churches/schools, etc) that I do fundraising videos for.

I'm downloading your video right now - but the server is pretty slow.
I'm looking forward to checking it out.

Well, in school magazine/brochure fundraising. Media is not really used. We kind of our the leading company in multimedia usage to promote the school's fundraiser, etc. Thanks for checking out the video!:thumbsup:
 
Yeah im downloading it too and its really slow. Probably whats happening is that people go to download it and then move on to other posts while waiting and never get back.
 
Very nice, sorry I didn't get back to you sooner. It looked very professional. I could tell you put alot of hard work into it.
 
It's hard to comment on this because everthing I want to say I hated is not your fault.

Thiese kind of videos suck. If you made one that didn't suck they would have been upset. So yes, you made a very professional looking video that sucks.

The camera work was clean but uneventful. The graphics were clear but very un-hip. The music was appropriate and super cheezy. And the editing was straight forward, articulate and boring.

In short, the video was everything this kind of video is supposed to be. Not an easy task to deliver. Just rewardless.

It looks like you have some skills. It's a shame they are wasted on this video.

But I bet it paid the rent and that's still cooler than working a joe job.
