Selling this awesome, petite, pancake lens to try to fund more expensive glass.

Industar-69 pancake lens with custom adapter for Sony Nex. Custom adapter made for infinity focus (other methods include grinding down M39 adapters or the lens itself). My adapter is made by/with a c-mount-to-nex adapter (the particular one that has an extra m42 threading around the smaller c-mount thread/hole), a 7mm m42 macro extension tube and a 42-to-39 step down ring. Assembling all this together results in an M39 adapter that is adjustable +4mm longer, or -6mm shorter than a standard m39 adapter. Industar is made for a "half-frame" Chiaka camera (which has a half frame size of a 35mm film; a little bit bigger than apsc sized sensors) and although has m39 mounts and threads, the spacing from mount-to-film is 2mm shorter on the Chiaka half-frame than leica/canon and other 35mm rangefinders that use LTM/M39 screw mounts. So, with my custom adapter with the adjustablity of +/- 4-6mm's, gives more than enough adjustability for perfect and correct infinity focus for the Industar-69. I simply set lens to infinity, then screw/adjust until infinity hits the horizon of a landscape/view, then lock-tightened/super-glued one of the threads of the step-ring and extension tube and let dry = custom adapter with proper infinity focus. Additionally, I took the stop-screw for MFD and it now focuses down to around .4m rather than the factory .8m; much much closer minimum focus distance.

All in all, a great lens. Not as sharp as a leica, canon, voigtlander, etc., etc...but this thing is awesome for the size, price and pancake aesthetics.

A tad soft at 2.8 wide open, get much sharper at f/4, f/5.6, etc. Vintage lens, so it adds nice character and is a bit flare prone.

Cosmetics are almost mint, looks like it's never been used. Glass is clear, no fungus nor haze. BUT, there are 2 or 3 long dust fibers inside (see pics), which do not affect picture. They are really really thin and it was hard to capture with my camera; I need perfect light and shadow to even capture it, but in person it is easier to see those dust fibers.

You can get these on ebay for cheap; but many are beat up. This one is in excellent condition, focus and ap is smooth as butter and feels nice and has perfect resistance. A joy to use with my nex 5n. Also, it'll take a while to get from ebay, as they are all from the eastern bloc or russia; mine is located in the US, with fast USPS shipping to you and no going through customs.
