Indoor Sky Diving

I hung out for about 30mins at the local indoor sky diving place. I was playing with Degrees shutter, and the Frame Rate Hack. It was fun, butI get better footage when I have scouted the environment before going to shoot. And also knowing my settings. But I enjoyed watching.

I tried to to get my shallowest DOF and it was HARD, but I pulled it off a couple times :) It was just practice. All in good fun...

Patrick... Now that's some sweet looking footage. The expression on the instructor and his movements are really something. Love the timelapse... the slow mo was sweet. I think some of your best work.. and love the colors and images.


I'd like to go in one of those things for sure.... Nice stuff
 
I've done it. There is a place outside of Phoenix in Eloy and they have a prety big one. It is a lot of fun but tricky to do the first time. I actually have some HVX footage of some sky-diving types who were showing off in it. I don't have it on this computer though, mostly because this computer can't do crap....but that's another story.

Those indoor places are a lot of fun and its amazing the amount of air that gets pushed past you while you float.
 
Great STUFF!!! Love the colors! and there was one shot where 2 guys float up, it looks like that vanish?! WTF???
 
Thanks guys, I did not feel this was my best. But maybe that means I am getting better, and finally expecting more out of myself, ....... or .........Barry's book is paying off.....:).......

I am going back to get some shots of them goofing off. There was a private party so I could not go in with them, or hang out in the door way, NOT TO MENTION THE FREAKIN' BACK LIGHT that I had when I was where the door way was, but I will be able to go and film with them while somewhat hanging inside. Possibly in a couple weeks.

I got one quick second, after I dumped to my harddrive. You'll see him upside down, for a breif shot.

The shot where they disappeared, goes up about I would say 2 stories, If you were standing in the center of the tunnel, you cant see them, cause it is so dark up there.
