Sorry to get off topic....looks like an amazing deal for mounting plate, rail system, etc., though. Are they any good...I should probably post this in another thread...
Hey cool product!
So it will be really interesting to see how good this thing will work out with geared and/or non-geared 35mm still optics... or has anybody already used/tried it out?
I'm a M2 user as well and would be desperate to get an inexpensive follow focus. However if it won't work really good and sturdy it makes no sense I guess... :-S
Looking forward to first reviews as well!
A quick follow-up on the indiFocus on a Cavision RS15IIm rods system.
Tim just sent me the prototype hard-stop kit which attaches directly to the marking disk to establish an absolute range on the infinite focus lenses like that of the DVX100a.
The hard stops he sent me are aluminum, but I've heard that production units ($30 kit) will be Delrin or some other quiet material that won't clunk against the riser.
A somewhat better view of the assembly integrated to the Cavision RS15IIm (about $190 US). From front to back, Cavision 4x4 mattebox (MB410H), Cavision Dual Handgrips, indiFocus follow-focus, Cavision Rods System (RS15IIm).
