IndiFocus experiences

Hi does anyone here have any purchasing experience with IndiFocus?

A few days ago I ordered and paid (via PayPal) for an IndiFocus FF setup, but I still havent received any confirmation (except from PayPal)... I have emailed them 2 times but nothing... Is this normal for this company? I hope so... :(
 
Yes, IndiFocus can be slow to respond to email. Ordered a shoulder pad from them once and didn't get any confirmation. It just shows up.
 
Thanks Huy, I hope thats what happens... Im not sure whether I should cough up yet for an IndiSlider that I would like to get too...

It took forever for me to get my IndiFocus, over two weeks. I sent two e-mails and not one e-mail back from them. So I call Tim. Nice guy. He told me it was in the mail. Three days later I got it. I didn't like it and returned it.

I will get a microFollowFocus. The IndiSlider is good. IndiFocus need a lot of help!
 
Call him.

Tim is a great guy... very helpful. Email is not his forte. I think, being a one- or two-man shop, email gets too backed up. But if you call, you can get all the information you need.

I ordered a matte box and rails system from him back in December. I needed it in time for a shoot just after Christmas, and he got it to me with a couple of days to spare. And when it arrived and one part had been damaged in transit, he overnighted - for Saturday delivery! - a replacement piece. He really came through for me in a pinch.
 
Tim replied to my 2nd email and has assured me he is sending it Saturday (today) and I will have it next week.. I will post again when I receive it.
