Ok, I'm looking to sell my indiefocus follow focus i bought a few months ago. For anyone unfamiliar with this it's website is here : http://indifocus.com/
My reason for selling this is mostly due to the fact that I'm just tight for cash and don't really have need for this at the moment.
I would like to point out that I wasn't all that thrilled about this product, while it does the job I didn't feel it was worth what I spent on it and it's not of the greatest quality. The knob doesn't rotate very evenly so you have to tighten it a little from being on all the way on otherwise when you get to a certain angle the plate scrapes against the post. However it does work and will get the job done. Also with setting the hard stops you can avoid this as there won't be any need to have the plate spin the whole 360 degrees. It was recommended to me to set them at 99MF and 32MF.
If you're looking for something that's completely pro, I'd steer clear. If you're looking for something that works, is decently attractive and for little expense, then I'd recommend this.
I bought this for the 299 U.S. + approx. $30 for shipping. I'm hoping to get 200 CAD for this, that's about $180.00 U.S. That includes shipping within Canada or the U.S. - I can accept paypal, international money order, canadian cheque or concealed cash.
Also, i should point out you need rod support for this as well, I have the cavision rod support system that i'd be willing to bundle with it for another $100 (http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/controller/home?O=productlist&A=details&Q=&sku=335222&is=REG&addedTroughType=search) , however I'm not looking to sell the rod system by itself as I will need to keep them if the follow focus does not sell. These go for $160 on the B&H site i just listed.
If you want more info about this, I'd recommend checking the reviews on this site.
Cheers!
