why dont you "let go" of the absurd notion that Last Crusade was a lot of fun?

Hi Loki ! How ya been ?

Last Crusade was a lot of fun... like a root canal. Except a root canal only lasts about 45 minutes.

As long as we're posting awesome pics...

People read into things too much, the flag is there because its an american base that they are at...lol. Kinda lame that people make a big deal of it being there at all.

I am going to go to the movies and try to forget about the last 20 years... I will try to think I am 9 again... and I will have twizzlers popcorn and a coke

All of them are in the minuscule list of movies I would pay to own the DVDs for

I thought the prequels were OK, but if Lucas calls it "Indiana Jones and the Adventures of Mutt Williams"
I'll be very pissed off. Bad enough that his name is "Mutt" obviously a play that Indiana was named after the dog. (or that he's a mutt - literally) but it's a stupid name and if they want to make "Mutt Williams and the search for a good movie" than call it that, but don't call it Indiana Jones because it's a spin off.

It's just a way for Lucas to piss off fans on purpose. Maybe he likes hate mail, and while Lucas came up with the idea. Steven Spielberg is the reason Indiana Jones worked anyway.

Let's not start retroactively diminishing George Lucas's contributions, just because of the prequels. George knew what he was doing in the 70's and early 80's. Sometime around his divorce is when his talent seemed to take a nosedive, which I find psychologically interesting. I'm reading a biography of Einstein, and he also did his most brilliant work while in a contentious marriage as a young man. After he divorced his work wasn't nearly as productive.

Well, they did wait too long to revive the story, and now Ford is too old to keep it up. So the can either move forward with new stories and characters, or go back like they did with the Young Indy shows. Those weren't too bad by the way, I watch them whenever I can find it. As far as passing the torch, I don't care as long as they keep the stories consistent and engaging.

2 reviews out on rottentomatoes. One saying it sucks, the other giving it a "b+"
I think ironically the hype is killing it (even though there is little advertising.) It just can't live up to peoples expectations. which is expected. I just hope for something as good as something in between tod, and tlc. Granted most reviewers don't know what the hell their talking about.

I think the one good thing about those crappy prequels is that they will nullify any hype. Many people went into The Phantom Menace with the assumption that it was going to be the greatest thing they've seen. Now they know better.

The movie had over 7 reviews added in about a half hour's time...looks like it'll do OK. I bet it'll bottom out at like 77% on RT or somewhere around there. Can't wait to see it regardless...
