Indiana Jones 4

INDIANA JONES AND THE CITY OF GOD

Sounds like a cross-over to me.

Sounds like Aliens vs. Predator meets Freddy vs. Jason.

Revenge of the Jedi, Return of the Jedi and the last three Star Wars pictures should be proof enough that Lucas has no problem changing titles or making changes of any other kind to his films.

I'm surprised they haven't gone in and remade Brody into an idiot in Raiders with all their idle time and processing power they have at ILM / Letterman Digital. Gotta have continuity.

This skull title is very probably - a diversion.

By "diversion", do you mean that the title being bandied about may not be the actual title the film will have upon release? The title is actually appearing on posters in theaters right now, not just online. Thus I assume that will be the actual title. (Of course, things could POSSIBLY change...)

It says it will be online as soon as it finished airing on TV. I am sure the trailer will be sweet, but I still have my doubts about the film.

Look good, BUT, minor quibbles...I can tell it was shot by Janusz Kaminski and not Douglas Slocombe. I read that Spielberg and Kaminski were going to approximate Doug's style from the first three films but I'm not seeing it. It's a little too colorful, a little too hazy and edge lit. I think someone like Dean Semler would have been a better choice for that. And the "damn, I though that was closer joke" felt like he was playing too self consciously to camera. One thing I loved about Raiders was the no nonsese attitude Indy had during the action, and the other two veered into jokiness too much sometimes. And the car chase on the edge of the cliff looked too "King Kong" CGI to me. One of the pleasures of the Indy films has always been that the big action set pieces were done for real...That said the trailer got me excited, and Ford seems to have not missed a beat and looks great. He actually seems more confident in the role, not that he ever wasn't.
