Hey guys,

figured I'd put this up to see what you guys thought of it. Shot on the DVX over 2 days. 3 man crew, we used the hell out of a doorway dolly and a little grip van. This is only the first 2 mins. I promised the producer I wouldnt show the whole thing untill the album is realeased. Any feedback appreciated, I know I'm going to get some hateration for the magic bullet, but the producer wanted it.

i liked the editing, but the content was pretty cliché. i especially didn't like
the apartment shots because it looked cheap.
but as i said, good editing.
 
yeah, I hear that about the cliche action. Tried to explain it to my client, but you know, he was in charge. I'm particularly proud of my in-car lighting, it almost caused a few accidents, but it worked.
 
I have a friend, Heavy duty into indiana stuff. her nick name is pooja. I'm sure she'll enjoy this . hah
 
I liked it. It was very slick and well done. And hey, not EVERY music video has to be an indie artsy fartsy piece now does it?

Thanks matt. I think that we did a pretty good job with the budget we had.

Mcvideogeek: For the lighting, I had a 10 inch home depot flouro clamped to the driver side door to light the driver, a frezzi micro fill clamped to the oh-**** handle to light the second guy, and a flouro shop-light in the back with a full cto to light the rear guy. We had much better lights at our disposal, but we wanted to be mobile, so we used the low power options instead.
 
yeah, the original cut had alot more butt shaking, but the producer said it was too racy. apparantly indian censors are really strict

the overhead wide shot of them standing in a group looks pretty good
The music, I don't mind

Dislikes:

Cliche
The indoor car scene looked abit soft on certain parts
Magic bullet overkill

Tell your producer to start thinking outside the box

Not bad overall..
 
hahaha, yeah that guy does look like a younger Shaq.

The music is really good, the video was shot well, even though I didn't like the yellow tint much.
