increase zoom speed

Is there a way to increase the speed that the dvx zooms at?

I like the fast zooms from giallo films, and I'm trying to replicate it.

Any help would be appreciated.

Just do it manually

the one on the handle has 3 speed functions that can be adjusted in your menus. they default to slow (1) off (2) and high (3). the easiest way to do the super fast zoom is use the zoom ring. switch the zoom switch on the front of the camera from servo to manu and use the zoom ring. it will zoom as fast as u move ur hand. and that will give u that dramatic fast zoom.
