Incompatible P2 Card. Help Needed.

Hey. I'm having a problem with 8 GB P2 card. When I turn the power on from the camera, there is text INCOMPATIBLE CARD on LCD display. And P2 card won't work at all. I have two cards, the other one is working. And it's empty. But the other won't work. There is very important material inside. Does anyone else have the same problem?:crybaby:

This problem started after I was transfering .mxf material to my MACBOOK laptop. I was doing it through firewire. There were both cards inside the HVX. Card in slot 1 was half full and the card in slot 2 was empty. Macbook recognize both cards and I started to transfer the first card, when it said that the files in the card are locked. It copied only 164 KB. Lastclip.txt file, icon and clip folders were those files.

So I rebooted HVX and tried again and then comes "INCOMPATIBLE CARD" text. HVX doesn't recognize the card at all. I tried everything, but no. I also tried with IBM pc laptop with PCMCIA card slot with p2 drivers. And No. It only says "corrupted media".

I haven't had any problems with hvx & p2 cards earlier and I'm very confused about this 'cause it's a memory card. Not hard drive. It should work properly!!! I bought these two monts ago.

Inside there is important footage for one TV serie, so it very urgent. PLEASE SOMEBODY HELP. Thank You.
 
The only time I saw this was when I tried to format the P2 card in my laptop when using the Duel Adaptor, and it didn't work. But, I was able to reformet the card in the camera. Have you tried that? Well, you don't want to do that until you get the material off of it.

Do you have a Macbook Pro? Have you tried just doing a P2 capture from FCP? Just mounting the cards as drives then transferring should not depend on whether the files are locked or not.
 
I had a 4gb card do this and nothing worked. So I mailed the card in for repair and they told me that I needed a new card and that this one was no good.
